The cc-tapis and Fornasetti exhibition titled (META)FISICA, curated by
Dan Thawley with exhibition design by Pablo Molezún, reinterprets a selection of archival motifs, with each rug evoking a theatrical suspension between fiction and function. 
The trompe l’oeil illustrations of Fornasetti become rich textural conversations in the hands of cc-tapis artisans, who employed a broad variety of techniques and materials. 

Dedar launches the second chapter of
Versi Liberi with an exhibition design by Studio Anne Holtrop, introducing new colorways and textures alongside three new designs exploring different expressive directions.
The 70 × 90 cm pieces reinterpret the tradition of placed motifs that flourished between the 17th and 19th centuries, combining their refinement and expressive vigour with contemporary taste. These new varieties join the VLL panels, a larger scale version imagined for curtains, revisiting the tradition of valanced textiles in a contemporary ready-made form.

Faye Toogood will curate the set-up of the recently opened Casa Tacchini in Brera with MATERIAL ANTHOLOGY, an installation centred on raw materials. Offcuts, samples and fragments are transformed into site-specific sculptures celebrating the hands-on, human process of design. Each room highlights a tonal palette drawn from Tacchini’s natural materials, from the blue veins of marble to the soft pink of timber knots. The showcase will feature Butter, evolving into a structured collection with new modules, end units and complementary pieces. Tacchini will also unveil a new lacquered finish across a broad colour palette, alongside reissues of iconic designs and a new lighting collection.

To mark its 70th anniversary, Gallotti&Radice presents Tales in Glass, a milestone celebration of heritage, craftsmanship and innovation: the brand's avant-garde vision and pioneering use of glass since 1956.
With exhibition design by Sophie Dries, the project honors the past, embraces the present, and shapes the future, featuring Special Editions with six international female designers — Valentina Cameranesi, Ivania Carpio, Rania Hamed, Estudio Persona, Fumie Shibata and Miminat Shodeinde — invited to reinterpret the brand’s legacy through a contemporary lens.

To mark its return to Milan Design Week, Baccarat will unveil new creations in the heart of the Brera district, within an immersive science fiction experience bringing together, across multiple timelines, the iconic designs and savoir-faire of the Maison, celebrating boldness and creative freedom.

Miu Miu introduces Literary Club, 2026 - "Politics of Desire". Now in its fourth iteration, the event is this time designed to explore the subject of sexuality, consent, and desire through the work of two distinctive authors, Nobel prize-winning, French-born Annie Ernaux, and Ghanaian writer and academic, former Minister of Education of Ghana, Ama Ata Aidoo. On 22–23 April, conversations, lectures and live performances will bring together an interdisciplinary community of women. On April 24, the club will open to the public as a reading room. The complete program will be unveiled soon. Registrations to the event will open on April 13th on miumiu.com.

Marimekko takes over Hosteria Grand Hotel presenting Osteria Fiori di Marimekko: a multisensory activation that blends design, gastronomy, and culture into a joyful exploration of the Art of Flowers. 
The activation highlights one of Marimekko’s newest floral designs Kukasta Kukkaan by Erja Hirvi in the form of bold textile installations, a shoppable curation of ceramics, and floral-inspired aperitivo with a Finnish flair available all day.

Yves Salomon Éditions and Michael Bargo imagine a dialogue between American heritage and Parisian craftsmanship: reinterpreted vintage furniture by American designers and a series of quilts conceived by Michael Bargo together tell the story of a journey to Milan.

Poliform consolidates its presence in Milan with a project at Palazzo Clerici, alongside the opening of its new flagship in

Piazza della Scala. For the occasion, the palace courtyard will be transformed by a site-specific installation curated by studioutte, while Poliform’s kitchens and new products will be presented on the first floor of the Palazzo, available for private viewings. 

DAFT about DRAFT, the Tokyo-based brand specialising in furniture for domestic and urban spaces, will present a site specific installation at the historic
Teatro Gerolamo in the heart of Milan. Conceived by Japanese architect and designer
Taiju Yamashita, the project marks the brand’s fourth participation to Salone and gives tangible form to his creative vision.
The installation will invite visitors to reconsider their gaze and experience design through an unexpected sensory lens, where furniture, space, and atmosphere merge in a single narrative.

Apartamento presents Silhouettes: Celebrating 15 years, an exhibition by Muller Van Severen, Courtesy of

Central to the presentation are fifteen unique, life-size aluminum candle holders. Each form is an abstract reinterpretation of recurring motifs from the oeuvre: chairs, cabinets, lamps, vases, and sculptural structures. Through rotation, inversion, or closure, these archetypal forms are reduced to their contours, to silhouettes that abandon their original function and manifest themselves as autonomous signs in space. The space will also host the Apartamento Bookshop.

BD presents two installations across the city. At Zazà Gallery, BD unveils RASTERS, a modular furniture system shown as an architectural installation designed by
OFFICE Kersten Geers David Van Severen and Muller Van Severen. At Ordet, BD joins Apartamento’s presentation of Silhouettes, marking the launch of the book
A Lot of Work, dedicated to fifteen years of Muller Van Severen’s practice. Together, the two installations offer complementary perspectives on Muller Van Severen and OFFICE’s work, from the architectural dimension to the broader universe. 

For Milan Design Week, Acerbis presents a special collaboration with Plan C, the Milan-based fashion brand founded by
Carolina Castiglioni. The two realities share a bold creative language, an expressive use of color and a contemporary vision of design.
At the Via Manzoni Plan C store, a selection of Acerbis’ iconic pieces is reinterpreted through finishes curated by the founder of Plan C, creating an unexpected dialogue between fashion and design.

Carolina Castiglioni, Creative Director of Plan C, presents The Curated Core, inviting a selection of brands to shape individual spaces within the store. The project revolves around design as a shared language, interpreted through four distinct interventions: Acerbis with a diffuse installation of iconic pieces, including selected collaborations with Plan C; Aliita with Alita Bath, an immersive project reimagining the bathroom as a space of beauty and quiet, in dialogue with Mutina and Dornbracht; Memo Paris x Olimpia Zagnoli launching the new fragrance Cap Camarat, accompanied by a series of exclusive illustrations by Zagnoli; and Sara Andelman, founder of Colette, curating an installation on the red staircase featuring collectible objects and contemporary cultural items available for purchase during the week.

During Milan Design Week 2026, Glas Italia unveils its first Milan Flagship Store through a window installation by Piero Lissoni. Titled Behind the Windows, the project transforms the storefront into a visual and narrative threshold. The windows become a device to observe, imagine, and engage with the future space. More than a preview, it is a gradual reveal of the brand’s identity.

Tacchini will present a booth conceived by Studio Cameranesi-Pompili and Studio Lys as a contemporary tent, with a lighter, more open architectural landscape. Inspired by the idea of a nomadic camp, the installation takes the form of a suspended textile structure that defines the space while remaining light and permeable. The setting will showcase new compositions of the
Le Mura and Butter sofas, alongside other new pieces from the collection.

mdf italia, known for its vision rooted in simplicity and lightness of form, collaborates with Milan-based Studio Klass to present SK Table. The collection explores the balance between elegance and technical precision, expressed through a softer, more welcoming presence. Alongside this collaboration, the company is working on new collections with international studios and designers such as Nichetto ®,
Studio Mist-o and Guglielmo Poletti, together with long-standing collaborators who have contributed to shaping the identity of the brand.

At Salone del Mobile 2026, Acerbis presents an installation that reflects the brand's identity and evolution, transforming the stand into a space where design becomes experience. The collection unfolds through a dialogue between heritage and contemporary vision, with a new addition to the Remasters collection: the re-edition of Parioli, the iconic 1970s design by
Lodovico Acerbis, reintroduced with a contemporary perspective. Alolongside this, the installation introduces Ebi chair, a new product developed by art directors
Meda–Quincoces, together with a new colour variant of the Lokum coffee tables by Sabine Marcelis.

Fisher & Paykel presents the exhibition Nature-Ritual at EuroCucina. With creative direction by Dean Poole, Alt Group, and stand design by Calvi Brambilla and Partners, the New Zealand brand explores the kitchen as a social - rather than purely functional - environment. Conceived as an immersive journey, the installation blends advanced technology with sensory experiences inspired by nature and materiality. Visitors move through a sequence of tactile encounters, discovering the collection atmospherically and affectively.

ABI, the Milan and Cairo-based stone design brand, will launch its second collection at Salone Raritas, the new exhibition and curatorial initiative of Salone del Mobile.Milano dedicated to special and limited design editions, unique pieces, antiques and high-end creative craftsmanship. 
The collection includes pieces designed by NM3, who also lead the overall creative direction, alongside Sofia Albrigo and
Heim+Viladrich. All pieces are crafted using locally sourced materials extracted in Egypt whose natural qualities give each object a unique appearance while ensuring durability and 100% recyclability.
