Dedar collaborates with the Josef & Anni Albers Foundation to pay tribute to the modernist vision of Anni Albers in the new textile collection Weaving Anni Albers. Crafted using cutting-edge jacquard techniques, the collection features four fabrics designed by Anni Albers and reissued by Dedar, along with a new fabric inspired by one of her paper drawings. It celebrates Albers’ enduring influence, seamlessly merging heritage and innovation—proving that great design is truly timeless. The creative direction will be curated by Carina Frey & Stefanie Barth and while the exhibition design by DWA.

Tacchini will open its first monobrand showroom in an early 20th-century Milanese apartment located in the heart of Brera. The art direction and set design will be curated by Charlotte de La Grandière. The new space will showcase, among other highlights, the Bread and Butter Collection by Faye Toogood – with the Butter modular sofa combining comfort, versatility, and warmth and redefining everyday living.

Prada Frames returns for its fourth edition, running in parallel to Milan’s Salone del Mobile. Curated by Formafantasma, Prada Frames is a multidisciplinary symposium that explores the complex interaction between design and the environment. The event will host intimate conversations and thematic lectures. The event is free with limited seating.

Miu Miu introduces Literary Club, 2025 –

“A Woman’s Education”. The second iteration of the event is designed to explore the subject of girlhood, love and sex education through the work of two international literary masters, French existentialist, Simone de Beauvoir, and
Fumiko Enchi, one of the most prominent female authors of the Shöwa era in Japan.

Over two days, conversations and live performances will bring together an enlightened community of interdisciplinary female talent.

At the cc-tapis showroom, cc-tapis presents WAYS OF SEEING, a collective investigating the relationship between craftsmanship and technology in digital architecture curated by Giga. Featuring 11 creatives, this exhibition investigates the hidden layers of craft and materiality in an era of digital overload.

At their cc-tapis Headquarters, the Italian rugmaker will present the Hypercode collection by Roberto Sironi, in a site-specific installation.

The collection blends mythological symbols, ancient inscriptions and modern graffiti into intricate handwoven rugs, merging tradition with innovation to tell timeless stories.

Marimekko collaborates with Laila Gohar to curate a bedroom-themed capsule in archival Marimekko stripes, resulting in a meeting of Laila’s distinctive vision and Marimekko’s bold aesthetic. The capsule is featured in a playful installation of a grand-sized bed at the foyer of Teatro Litta, celebrating both comfort and joy. The collection transforms the bedroom into a vibrant space where design meets everyday life.

Michael Anastassiades unveils a new collection of modular lights for his eponymous brand, designed for adaptability and transformation. The presentation also includes a new portable lamp designed and produced in collaboration with Alessi. Hosted at Jacqueline Vodoz and
Bruno Danese Foundation, opening to the public for the occasion, the exhibition has a symbolic value for the designer who has always looked to Bruno Danese's work as a source of inspiration throughout his career.

Yves Salomon Editions, the new design project just launched by the eponymous maison, announces a collection by Pierre Marie. The French decorator – whose universe is distinguished by a profusion of rich, colorful motifs created in perfect harmony with the know-how they summon – has been given carte blanche to create a collection of objects in shearling intarsia. 

Capsule Plaza returns for its third edition, continuing to infuse new energy into Milan Design Week while expanding its global reach. A hybrid between a fair and a collective exhibition, Capsule Plaza will once again bring together designers, companies and institutions from various creative fields, bridging industry and culture with a bold and multi-sensory curation that spans interiors and architecture, beauty and technology, innovation and craft.

Nordiska Galleriet (NO GA) presents its new furniture collection NO GA projects at Capsule Plaza. The launch includes work by three visionary designers and design studios: Paul T. Frankl, Willo Perron and NM3, the latter presenting their first ever wooden collection. NO GA projects will serve as an experimental hub, engaging with designers, architects, and multidisciplinary creatives to reinvent the boundaries of modern furniture.

Resonance refers to the ability to evoke emotions, memories, or responses that go beyond mere function, transcending aesthetic appeal and turning each piece into a unique and personal experience.
Studiopepe envisioned a new visual and sensory story within the showroom they designed last year, where the subtle interplay of materials comes to life in a surprising and innovative way.
The inspiration from the glossy, sophisticated style of the '70s and '80s is evident in every detail, a nod to a period of great stylistic excitement, when design embraced luxury aesthetics while simultaneously challenging conventions.

VERSO launches Palma's third furniture collection, Souvenir. Souvenir draws its initial inspiration from the rich allegorical world of the studiolo – a personal chamber for contemplation, where research, creation, collection, and rest coalesce – featuring nine limited-edition pieces. Verso, in partnership with Office of Tangible Space, also presents the Osvaldo Furniture Collection.

Laboratorio Paravicini and Mary Lennox join forces to present a unique project where tableware and nature intertwine, drawing inspiration from the geometry and volumes of the Italian garden. Jardins à l’Italienne evokes a metaphysical atmosphere in which vegetation sheds its spontaneity to become architecture. The installation elevates the courtyard into an immersive artwork, constructing walls of greenery and hyper-realistic volumes. 

NM3 invites Nick Ross into a dialogue on materials and their variations.
Nick Ross presents nine chairs, each crafted in a different type of wood, while NM3 showcases the NM25 console in nine distinct finishes. The collaboration is rooted in material repetition and materic confrontation, where both entities engage with texture, structure, and contrast.

NM3 also produces the design collection for NO GA, alongside a project with Gruppo Florence, exploring the intersection of high-end textiles, leather, and industrial design.

Apartamento returns to Milan! Join us for your annual dose of all things design and check out the latest iteration of the Apartamento Bookshop, a week-long pop-up at Salone del Mobile 2025. This year’s special guest is Peter Shire, a cross-over artist from Echo Park, Los Angeles, and a founding member of the Memphis Group. During the week, we’ll be presenting a brand-new book with Peter and unveiling an exhibition of Memphis designs, featuring archival material courtesy of Peter Shire himself, Christoph Radl, and Memphis Milano.

ABI is a new collectible design brand combining the Egyptian tradition of stone craftsmanship with Italian design heritage to create objects in marble or granite inspired by functional modernism. Under the creative direction of NM3, ABI uses locally sourced Egyptian stone, including raw-finish granite, to create durable and timeless pieces. The brand debuts at BKV Fine Art, showcasing works by designers Nick Ross, Carsten in der Elst, Klemens Schillinger, and NM3. The exhibition explores the intersection of ancient materials and modern design, bridging cultural traditions with a global perspective.

At the fair, Acerbis introduces new colors and forms, expanding its contemporary seating collection with Philippe Malouin's new upholstered collection and the re-edition of the Palla easy chair by Claudio Salocchi, alongside the Lokum side tables by Sabine Marcelis, a standout piece from Salone 2024.

At this year’s fair, Tacchini presents a calm space designed by Matteo Fiorini and styled by Charlotte de La Grandière. Highlights include the re-edition of Tobia Scarpa’s Africa chair, Cini Boeri’s Tako side table, Faye Toogood’s Butter Sofa, and a new chair by Michael Anastassiades.

MDF Italia expands its collection with the introduction of a new sofa system by Jean-Marie Massaud, a design that embodies effortless comfort and inviting softness. Alongside this new addition, the brand refreshes some of its most iconic pieces, including the Neil Lounge and Rock Tables, with updated finishes and details that further enhance their timeless appeal.

An installation that highlights the brand's evolution through a curated selection of materials, shapes, textures, and colors. It expresses the brand's essence, balancing innovation with artisanal tradition. The space offers an immersive, dynamic experience, using perspective and contrasts to enhance the collection’s sophistication and elegance, showcasing the brand's commitment to aesthetic and quality.
